Thanks,
Trish and Stuart, for teaching great obedience classes for Myself,
Melissa and our dog, Moby. I've included both Melissa and myself
in that because; we have had to learn almost as much, if not more,
than our dog! Though we have had dogs before, we have never attended
an obedience class having always thought that teaching a dog how
to sit was enough.
We have learned practical commands that last
a lifetime such as "leave it" that deal with everyday
problems we may face with our dog. We realised how important this
training is whenever people approached us to ask how we get our
dog to be so attentive and focused on us. They would then proceed
with stories of how wild their dogs were. We felt great pride in
how well our Moby "performed" at the park.
We
particularly appreciate the enthusiasm both of you have had with
Moby, helping us both in classes and outside with his "extra
curricular activities". You taught us that dogs are individuals
and training should be tailored to their personality. Techniques
that work on one dog may not work on another. You have given us
the tools necessary to ensure the safety of our dog and enjoy his
companionship to its fullest potential. Though he still has his
'off' days, we realize that training never stops and he will only
improve as long as we commit the time to this.
We
have also found that the different styles of training from the various
trainers have provided us with a variety of ways to address various
training techniques which enable us to select the best one for Moby.
The classes are always a lot of fun especially when the agility
equipment is brought out. It still amazes us that Moby, who loves
a sleep in, is always first waiting at the front door on a Saturday
morning.
Thanks again for the great classes. They are well worth our investment
in time and money and would recommend you to anyone wanting dog
training.
Kind Regards
Jason
