INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED LEVELS
For those of you who wish
to further train their dogs to a more superior level, Four
Paws K9 Training offer both Intermediate and Advanced Obedience
levels.
These
classes are designed for those who want total control of their
dog both on lead and off. Dogs of all breeds and ages can
reach these levels, all it takes is persistence and determination
on your part.
And
why wouldn't you want your dog to progress to these levels?
The
Intermediate level is designed to perfect those exercises
taught in the Basic level but also introduces pattern heeling,
moving away from your dog when in a command position, hand
signals and some minimal off lead work. Commands are "sharpened"
and dogs are proofed to a higher level with heavier distractions.
The Advanced level is for those owners who want optimum performance
from their dogs both on lead and off. Dogs are proofed with
maximum distractions and owners can expect to work their dogs
at varying distances - off lead of course! Advanced Obedience
also includes the teaching of targeting work, tricks and silent
commands.
Please refer to the Attainable Standards below. |

A well-behaved and totally controllable
dog is a joy to have, especially around the family and in public.
Your dog will also benefit greatly as trained dogs generally tend
to be happier dogs.
The sky's the limit with what you
can achieve through obedience training!
As
per our Basic level, the Intermediate and Advanced level memberships
are for 12 months. A yearly renewal fee is payable if you have not
passed within the timeframe and wish to continue training. |
