Puppy Kindergarten through to Advanced Obedience

For those of you who have been wanting to train your dog but find it hard to get to the city each week, we now have a centre located in the heart of Spa Country, Daylesford Victoria.

The Daylesford centre of Four Paws K9 Training is run by Tricia Dunlop, who is a qualified trainer local to the area. Tricia holds a current Certificate III in Dog Training & Behaviour and also instructs at our Keilor Park centre each Saturday morning.

The various levels offered at the Daylesford centre are:

	Puppy Kindergarten
	Basic Obedience
	Intermediate Obedience
	Advanced Obedience

All levels include Socialisation.

Socialisation exposes the dogs to as many and varied experiences as possible in a positive manner. For example; meeting and playing with other dogs in a safe and controlled environment, unusual sounds, objects and experiences.

Puppy Kindergarten (8wks - 5 months)

Puppy Kindergarten is a 5 week course for puppies 8 weeks to 5 months of age and is held at the Hepburn Veterinary Clinic on Monday evenings.

At Puppy Kinder, your pup will learn basic obedience skills such as sit, drop, recall and loose lead walking as well as socialisation. We also provide general problem solving.

Using a mixture of reward based and motivational training methods, your pup will learn what is expected very quickly and will have fun doing so, resulting in a better behaved, happy and safer member of your family.

The fee structure for Puppy Kinder includes a one off fee for the *5 week course.

Basic Obedience (5 months and older) - 6 Week Course

Basic Obedience for dogs 5 months and over is held on Tuesday nights at Daylesford Primary School. We provide a comprehensive basic course where your dog can train at your and it's own pace to the level desired by you. The course is designed to give your dog a good workable knowledge of basic commands and the confidence to deal with the everyday situations it may encounter.

Attaintable Levels for Basic

The course runs for 6 weeks and upon completion, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement for the Basic level.

Important Requirements:

All dogs must have their vaccinations and boosters up to date prior to commencing training. Proof of vaccinations must be produced in order for your dog to train at Four Paws K9 Training.
